who r u?

u work less than what u r paid for - u r a THIEF!
u work exactly for what u r paid - u r a SLAVE
u work to ur full capacity, n do more than wat u r paid for - u r the MASTER

Hey saw you on orkut, lovely Quote but not sure if everyone would agree with it. Not many think about professionalism in this way, good on you. Would love to read more of your post, keep blogging regularly.

Sudarshan.

"u work exactly for what u r paid - u r a SLAVE" - Well..this could go possibly for a debate...
If we do our work exactly for what we are paid for, they say we are being professional, maintain a good balance in our lives and so is we are not doing any charity !!

But I guess it is important to provide more "value-add" than just doing your job, so I kind of agree with you in saying "u work to ur full capacity, n do more than wat u r paid for - u r the MASTER"

Nice post !!

@ chandu:

Firstly, thanq for the comment :)

Secondly, there is one thing to consider here. The point I wanted to put across is about doing work because u njoi doing it, putting in ur heart and soul, rather than doing it for money. when u do work for the sake of work, u tend to give it ur best shot, and usually all masterpieces have resulted this way. When u work for money, however, money is primarily wat u get. and u wud not think of going beyond what is asked of you.
And "slave" is not something I meant in a derogatory sense. a slave is quite professional too, dont u think?

coming to charity thing, you help somebody who is unable to help himself/ herself, u cannot be charitable to ur employer, can u?

hope u got me right..
